Abermore is a first-person stealth RPG developed by Four Circle Interactive, released in 2022 for PC. Players take on the role of the Unhanged Man, a Robin Hood-like legendary thief operating in Abermore, a neo-Edwardian city with an eccentric cast of characters. The game unfolds across 18 in-game days leading up to a grand heist called the Feast of the Lucky Few, with each day offering new robberies, side quests, and story encounters. Mission layouts are procedurally generated, ensuring no two runs play out identically. Between jobs, players can trade stolen goods at the Black Market, purchase equipment, and recruit collaborators whose skills provide distinct advantages during the climactic final heist. The Unhanged Man also has access to 14 supernatural abilities drawn from tarot cards, granting powers that aid stealth and survival. Improvisation is encouraged throughout, with the environment offering unconventional tools for navigating unexpected situations.
