Adrenalin Misfits is a Kinect-exclusive extreme sports racing game developed by Konami Digital Entertainment, released in 2010 for Xbox 360. Players control monster characters on boards, competing against seven rival monsters across seven distinct worlds. The game uses Kinect motion controls to simulate the physical sensation of board riding without any traditional controller. Defeating opponents unlocks them as playable characters, and players can also race as their personal Xbox Avatar. Progression is tied to tournament victories and condition-based challenges, which reward players with new boards drawn from a pool of over 50 varieties. Each board influences core performance attributes — speed, jumping ability, and technical handling — giving equipment choices a meaningful effect on gameplay. The title is designed around accessible, pick-up-and-play mechanics intended to make Kinect controls approachable for a broad audience.
