Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations is a 3D action-adventure game developed by Vicious Cycle Software and released in 2015 across PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC. The fourth game based on Cartoon Network's Adventure Time animated series, it marks the franchise's first entry rendered in full 3D graphics. Loosely drawing from the show's sixth season, the game follows Finn and Jake as they take up detective work in the Land of Ooo, inspired by their parents Joshua and Margaret after discovering a device called the tickertype that prints investigation assignments. Gameplay centers on exploring familiar locations, conversing with characters, and solving puzzles, while also incorporating combat through Finn's sword. Defeated enemies drop items that fill the Tree House treasure room, adding a light collection element to the investigative core.
