Released in 2011 by Behaviour Interactive, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is a music and dance game available on Wii, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS, tied to the film of the same name. Players perform as one of six characters from the franchise — Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeanette, or Eleanor — executing over 50 distinct dance moves during stage performances. A customization system allows players to dress their chosen character in various outfits and accessories before taking the stage. A Story Mode draws on settings inspired by the movie. On Xbox 360, the game supports Kinect, which incorporates the player's voice into performances through an "Alvin-ized" audio effect that pitch-shifts vocals to match the chipmunks' signature sound.
