Angelo and Deemon: One Hell of a Quest is a point-and-click adventure game developed by Specialbit Studio, released in 2019 for Android, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Drawing inspiration from the classic adventure titles of LucasArts and Double Fine Productions, it follows Angelo, a blogger desperate for views and likes, who ends up accompanying the Grim Reaper into Hell after a lightning strike sets off an unlikely chain of events. Hoping to capture the ultimate viral video, Angelo instead finds himself navigating the underworld, solving puzzles, and assisting its eccentric residents with their various problems — including an eventual encounter with the Devil himself. A companion accompanies Angelo throughout the journey. The game features hand-drawn, non-pixel-art visuals across numerous levels, dialogue written for comedic and philosophical effect, and puzzle design intended to challenge lateral thinking. Each character encountered has a distinct personality and their own set of troubles to work through.
