Armadillo Run is a physics-based puzzle game released in 2006 for PC. Each level presents a spatial challenge: constructing a structure that guides an armadillo to a designated point in the environment. Players draw from a set of building materials, each with distinct physical properties, which can be combined in a wide variety of configurations. The underlying physics simulation is realistic enough that most levels support multiple valid solutions, rewarding creative and unconventional approaches alongside more straightforward ones. Rather than prescribing a single correct method, the game leaves the path to success largely open, allowing the properties of materials and the behavior of the simulation to determine what works. The result is a sandbox-leaning puzzle experience where engineering intuition and experimentation are central to progress.
