Art Style: Orbient is a gravity-based puzzle game developed by Skip Ltd. and released for the Wii in 2008. Players control a white star navigating space by using the Wii Remote's A and B buttons to apply gravitational pull or repulsion relative to surrounding celestial objects. The goal of each stage is to grow the white star large enough that a designated target star turns orange and can be drawn into orbit, clearing the round. Growth occurs by colliding with same-sized blue stars, while smaller gray stars can be positioned to become orbiting satellites rather than absorbed. Red stars are larger and dangerous to collide with, though their gravity can be used for navigation. Hazards include asteroids and black holes, each capable of depleting the star's five-hit life total. Collecting crescent stars earns bonus points and, when fully accumulated, unlocks additional galaxies necessary for full completion.
