Released in 2019 for Nintendo Switch, Assassin's Creed: The Rebel Collection is a compilation package bundling two action-adventure RPGs from the Assassin's Creed franchise along with their single-player DLC content. The first game, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, casts the player as a pirate navigating the Caribbean in an open-world setting with a naval combat system at its core. The second, Assassin's Creed Rogue, takes a different angle by placing the player in the role of a Templar hunting Assassins — a perspective that was new to the franchise at the time of its original release. Included DLC spans titles such as Freedom Cry, Guild of Rogues, the Illustrious Pirate Pack, the Crusader & Florentine Pack, and the Death Vessel Pack.
