Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 1 is a retro compilation developed by Code Mystics and released in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, bringing together 50 Atari titles spanning both the 2600 home library and original arcade releases. The collection covers a broad range of genres — arcade shooters, sports simulations, strategy games, and action titles — with entries including Asteroids, Centipede, Missile Command, Tempest, Pong, Warlords, Yars' Revenge, and the Swordquest trilogy, among others. Several titles appear in both their 2600 and arcade versions, allowing direct comparison between formats. The interface is designed to replicate the responsive feel of the originals on modern controllers. Online global leaderboards, multiplayer support, achievements, and a collection of archival artwork accompany the games, rounding out what is the first of multiple planned volumes in the series.
