Based on the animated television series of the same name, Atomic Betty is a 2005 action game developed by Big Blue Bubble for the Game Boy Advance that blends shooter, platformer, and puzzle elements. Players follow Betty, an ordinary girl who secretly serves as a Galactic Guardian tasked with defending the cosmos from the villainous Maximus I.Q. Alongside her companions Sparky and X-5, she must protect the galaxy while simultaneously contending with her earthbound rival Penelope. The game features five playable characters, rocket ship travel between locations, and a selection of gadgets and weapons that players can choose throughout the adventure. Drawing directly from the animated series, the title attempts to recreate the show's dual storylines and fast-moving narrative within a handheld format.
