Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains

Developed by Spike Chunsoft and released in 2013 for Nintendo 3DS, Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is a hack-and-slash title based on the Attack on Titan anime and manga series. Players take on the role of a Scout Regiment member tasked with defending humanity's three Walls against invading Titans. Combat centers on the use of omni-directional mobility gear and blades, allowing for fast, aerial engagements against the giant enemies. The game is a remake of an earlier Attack on Titan title and was notable for being the first entry in the franchise to receive an official North American release, distributed exclusively through the Nintendo eShop. The Western version features the original Japanese voice audio accompanied by English subtitles.
