B-Boy is a breakdancing music game developed by Evolved Games, released in 2008 for PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. Players compete against 40 B-Boy characters across 21 real-world locations drawn from prominent events such as Red Bull BC One, Freestyle Sessions, and the UK B-Boy Championships. All in-game movement is motion-captured from actual breakdancers, including renowned Red Bull athlete Crazy Legs, who also serves as the game's MC and a final boss. The roster features 12 fully licensed competitive B-Boys representing Europe, Asia, and North America. Progression unlocks adidas clothing for character customization, and the soundtrack comprises 40 licensed hip-hop and classic funk tracks selected by the featured performers. The PSP version supports wireless multiplayer, enabling head-to-head battles on the go. B-Boy presents itself as a faithful representation of competitive breaking culture rather than an arcade abstraction of it.
