Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes the Neighborhood is a fighting and sports title developed by Paradox Development (later acquired by Midway Games) and published by Eidos Interactive for Xbox and PlayStation 2 in 2004. The sequel to the original Backyard Wrestling game, it places players in rough, unsanctioned brawling scenarios in the vein of the underground wrestling scene. One of its more prominent features is a licensed soundtrack spanning a wide range of artists, including Andrew W.K., Insane Clown Posse, Mudvayne, Bad Brains, Body Count, Fall Out Boy, Saliva, Kool Keith, and Hoobastank. Though the game was marketed with appearances from figures such as Vampiro, New Jack, and Major Gunns, critics largely dismissed it upon release despite earlier promises of a refined gameplay experience. Commercial performance proved more resilient, with the title selling close to 300,000 copies through 2005.
