Bad Mojo is a point-and-click adventure developed by Pulse Entertainment and released in 1996 for PC (DOS and Windows) and Mac. The game follows Roger Samms, a downtrodden man living in a squalid apartment, stuck in a dead-end job, and tormented by his landlord. On the verge of escaping his miserable circumstances with stolen money and a ticket to Mexico, Roger accidentally triggers something sinister through a mysterious family heirloom, leaving him transformed into a cockroach. Gameplay involves navigating Roger through the grimy, dangerous environment of his own building in insect form, contending with hazards such as spiders, a cat, and numerous other threats. The experience blends puzzle-solving with a dark, surreal narrative as Roger works to reverse his predicament and confront the circumstances of his wasted life.
