Bandit Six: Combined Arms is a first-person arcade shooter developed by Climax Studios and released in 2015 for PlayStation VR, Oculus Go, and Daydream. Designed specifically for virtual reality, the game places players in two distinct combat roles across World War 2 settings. In one mode, players operate the tail guns of a bomber aircraft, shooting down waves of enemy fighter planes as they close in from all directions. In the other, players are positioned on the ground, holding defensive positions against successive waves of attacking enemy forces. The combination of aerial and ground-based combat scenarios gives the game structural variety while keeping the core loop focused on target acquisition and survival under pressure. As a VR-native title, the experience is built around head-tracking and stationary play rather than traditional movement mechanics.
