Battlefield 1: Apocalypse is the fourth and final downloadable content pack for Battlefield 1, developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and released in February 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The expansion focuses on some of the most devastating engagements of the First World War, delivering five new maps split between infantry and aerial combat. Three infantry-focused maps are set at historically significant locations — Caporetto in present-day Slovenia, Passchendaele in Belgium, and the River Somme in France — each featuring the stationary Livens Projector/Gaswurfminen weapon emplacement. The remaining two maps, Razor's Edge and London Calling, support the new Air Assault mode, centering exclusively on plane and zeppelin combat over the Alps and London respectively. The pack introduces six firearms including the Howell Automatic and Webley Revolver Mk VI, several melee weapons, new infantry gadgets, and two additional aircraft, the Airco DH.10 and the Hansa-Brandenburg G.I.
