China Rising is a multiplayer expansion for Battlefield 4, developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and released in 2013 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Set across the Chinese mainland, the expansion introduces four new maps — Silk Road, Altai Range, Guilin Peaks, and Dragon Pass — each offering distinct terrain for large-scale combat. A new Air Superiority mode pits two teams against each other in aerial battles for control of the skies. The expansion also adds new vehicles, including the returning Dirt Bike and a new Bomber capable of delivering heavy destruction from altitude, alongside additional gadgets.
