Released in 2007 by Beenox, Bee Movie Game is an adventure title based on the animated feature film, available on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 2. Players control Barry B. Benson, a bee on a mission to protect the honey supply, navigating environments drawn from the film across New York City and within the hive itself. Gameplay involves high-speed aerial flight, and ground-level vehicle sections where Barry can commandeer racecars, scooters, taxicabs, and trucks. Combat and traversal make use of the Pollinator weapon, which can either blast through obstacles or trigger chain reactions. Barry's bee reflexes grant a time-stopping ability, adding a tactical layer to encounters. The game also includes two-player cooperative mini-games, extending the experience beyond the solo campaign.
