Developed by Papaya Studio and released in 2009, Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks is an action-adventure game available on Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS. The game marks the first time in the series that protagonist Ben Tennyson travels beyond Earth, venturing into outer space and across multiple alien worlds. The central threat is Vilgax, Ben's most persistent enemy, who has assembled a coalition of villains and systematically conquered a series of planets — including some that serve as home worlds for Ben's alien forms — placing ruthless lieutenants in charge of each one. The campaign builds toward Vilgax's ultimate goal of destroying Earth. Players fight through these occupied worlds, confronting the boss characters Vilgax has stationed on each, in order to dismantle his operation and prevent the final assault on Ben's home planet.
