Blue Toad Murder Files: The Mysteries of Little Riddle is an episodic puzzle-adventure game developed and published by Relentless Software in 2009, available on PlayStation 3, PC, and Linux. Supporting one to four players cooperatively, it casts participants as members of the Blue Toad Detective Agency investigating a murder in the quiet English village of Little Riddle. Players navigate the village by selecting locations on a map, interviewing suspects such as the local doctor and station master to uncover alibis and motives. Progress depends on completing over 90 puzzles and cross-examinations woven into the investigation, with the game periodically testing players on details they have observed. The experience is divided across six episodes, each ending on a cliffhanger, with players choosing a suspect before the true culprit is revealed. Four distinct detective characters are available for players to take on across the cooperative modes.
