BMX XXX is a 2002 action sports title developed by Z-Axis and published by Acclaim Entertainment for Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and PlayStation 2. At its core, the game centers on BMX riding, placing it within the action sports genre that was popular during that era. It became far better known, however, for its adult content than for its gameplay, incorporating nudity, crude language, and explicit humor — including customizable topless female characters and live-action video clips featuring real strippers. This content led to the game being denied classification in Australia, while the PlayStation 2 version was released in North America with nudity censored, unlike the Xbox and GameCube versions. The controversy generated significant publicity, though it was overwhelmingly negative. Despite the attention, BMX XXX performed poorly both critically and commercially upon release.
