Bomberman

Hudson Soft's Bomberman for PlayStation Portable, released in 2006, is a strategy-arcade title that blends classic maze-bombing gameplay with new content designed around the handheld's wireless capabilities. The game features two single-player modes: a Normal Mode with an original storyline — a shadowy threat and a rogue robot army have thrown surrounding planets into turmoil, sending Bomberman on a galaxy-spanning quest — spanning 100 levels and introducing an Item Stock system that allows players to collect and deploy power-ups strategically; and a Classic Mode drawing from the original Bomberman formula across more than 50 levels. A multiplayer Battle Mode supports up to four players competing across 20 customizable stages via wireless ad hoc, and a Game Sharing feature allows all four players to connect from a single UMD disc. The combination of legacy content and modern portable-focused design makes it a notable entry in the long-running series.
