Bonsai Barber is a casual simulation game developed by Zoonami, released in 2009 for the Wii. Players operate a barbershop whose clientele consists entirely of anthropomorphized plants, fruits, and vegetables, each arriving with specific grooming requests for their foliage. Using the Wii Remote to mimic the motions of styling tools — including scissors, clippers, combs, and hairspray — players work through up to five customers per day, aiming to earn a five-star rating on each cut by matching the customer's desired style as closely as possible. The gameplay draws loose inspiration from the Japanese practice of bonsai pruning. Beyond the core barbering loop, the game includes an achievement system and unlockable modes and rewards. Players can also photograph their completed styles and share them with friends through the WiiConnect24 online service.
