Boogie Superstar is a music game developed by EA Montreal for the Wii, released in 2008 as a follow-up to Boogie. It combines dancing and karaoke gameplay, supporting two input methods: the included microphone for singing and the Wii Remote for dancing. In the singing mode, players must match the rhythm and pitch of songs, while the dancing mode requires executing sequences of specific moves and combos in time with choreographed routines. The central progression system revolves around competing in a star show, where strong performances earn tokens redeemable for reward packages. These packages unlock additional songs, dance moves, combos, routines, and dressing room cosmetics, alongside style skill advancement. The dual-mode structure allows players to engage with the game through whichever performance style they prefer, with unlockable content providing ongoing incentive across both disciplines.
