Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds is a hack-and-slash action game developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software, released in 2003 for Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and PlayStation 2. Framed as a "missing episode" set during the television series' fifth season, the story pits Buffy and her allies against the vampire Kakistos and the entity known as The First. Players take control of multiple playable characters across the campaign — Buffy, Willow, Faith, Spike, and Xander — each with distinct abilities, progressing through combat, puzzle-solving, and item collection toward a climactic confrontation. Additional characters from the show appear throughout, serving as either allies or adversaries. Beyond the single-player campaign, the game includes multiplayer modes for up to four players, among them Bunny Catch, Survival — in which players face continuous waves of vampires — and Domination, an arena-based objective mode.
