Bus Simulator is a driving simulation game developed by stillalive studios, released in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Players take on the role of a bus driver navigating a large, freely explorable urban environment divided into 12 distinct districts, including a harbour zone, downtown area, business park, and surrounding villages. The game features eight officially licensed city buses from manufacturers Mercedes-Benz, Setra, MAN, and IVECO, each available for customization unlocked through earned revenue and reputation. Gameplay involves transporting passengers along scheduled routes while contending with realistic urban hazards such as traffic congestion, construction sites, potholes, night driving, adverse weather, and fare evaders. Driving safely and punctually builds reputation, while accidents, damage, or speeding carry financial and reputational consequences. A single-player career mode is complemented by a real-time online multiplayer option, allowing multiple players to operate buses cooperatively across the same city network.
