Buzz!: Master Quiz is a trivia game released in 2008 for PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita, developed around a bank of over 5,000 questions spanning music, celebrities, television, sport, science, nature, and film. Six round types were designed specifically for the handheld format, including the fast-paced Quickfire Challenge, the image-based Picture This, and the Virus Challenge, with rounds accompanied by pictures and video content throughout. Multiplayer is a central focus, offered through three distinct modes accommodating different setups. A single PSP can be passed between players, while the Game Share feature allows up to four participants to play from one game copy by distributing a temporary version to nearby systems. Quiz Host mode extends play to six players, with one participant acting as host and holding the authority to award or deduct points at their discretion. A more substantial single-player mode rounds out the package compared to earlier entries in the series.
