Buzz!: Quiz World is the ninth entry in the Buzz! trivia series, developed by Relentless Software and released in 2009 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. Players compete across a variety of round formats, including newly introduced types such as one that gradually reveals hidden answers. A player profiling system allows the host, Buzz, to address competitors by name and track their performance history across sessions. The game supports question packs carried over from earlier Buzz! titles, user-created content, and online multiplayer. The PSP version added downloadable content support absent from its predecessor. On PlayStation 3, the game is available standalone or bundled with four wireless buzzers and a USB dongle. It also integrated with PlayStation Home and, following a 2010 patch, became notable for allowing players to post game session results directly to Facebook, which was reported as a first for any video game at the time.
