About

Released in 2011, Annihilation is a downloadable content pack for Treyarch's 2010 first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops, available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The pack adds four multiplayer maps and one cooperative zombie map. The multiplayer offerings span a range of distinct settings: a facility at Area 51, a Soviet missile plant, a golf course, and an abandoned drive-in theater. The zombie map, Shangri-La, departs from these grounded environments by placing players in a jungle-surrounded mythical temple. Each map is designed to introduce varied combat terrain and atmospheres to the existing Black Ops multiplayer experience, extending the base game with locations that range from Cold War-era industrial sites to more unconventional and exotic backdrops.
