Revolution is the first downloadable content pack for Treyarch's 2013 first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops II, released on PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360. The pack adds four multiplayer maps set across geographically varied locations: a hydroelectric facility on Pakistan's Indus River, an Alpine ski resort in France, a Venice Beach skate park, and a sand-swept Gobi Desert settlement. A fifth map, Die Rise, expands the Zombies mode with a setting across two crumbling skyscrapers. Beyond new maps, Revolution introduces the Peacekeeper, a hybrid submachine gun/assault rifle available as a new multiplayer weapon. The pack also includes Turned, a new Zombies variant in which players can take control of a zombie rather than fighting against them, adding an asymmetric twist to the cooperative survival format.
