Uprising is a downloadable content pack for Treyarch's 2012 first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops II, released in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The package adds four multiplayer maps and one cooperative zombie map. The multiplayer offerings span a range of distinct settings: a skyscraper rooftop in India, a London music festival, a Japanese village engulfed by a volcanic eruption, and a Hollywood film lot. The zombie component, Mob of the Dead, shifts the action to Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge, casting players against waves of undead in one of the series' more distinctive historical backdrops. Each map introduces new environmental layouts and sightlines suited to the game's existing multiplayer and cooperative modes, extending the base game's content without altering its core mechanics.
