Released in early 2014 by Infinity Ward, Onslaught is the first downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts, a first-person shooter available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. The pack adds four multiplayer maps — Fog, Ignition, BayView, and Containment — each offering distinct combat environments for competitive play. Alongside these maps, Onslaught introduces two new weapons: the Maverick assault rifle and the Maverick-A2 sniper rifle, both usable across multiplayer modes. The pack also includes Nightfall, the opening episode of the Extinction cooperative story mode, which extends the narrative content of the base game. Originally launching on Xbox platforms on January 28, 2014, the pack became available on PlayStation and PC the following month. Onslaught was the first of multiple planned DLC releases for Ghosts under its Season Pass program.
