Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 is a 2001 arcade fighting game developed by Capcom and the sixth entry in the company's VS. Series, serving as a direct sequel to the original Capcom vs. SNK. Originally built on Sega NAOMI arcade hardware, the game brings together fighters from both Capcom and SNK's rosters in competitive head-to-head combat. Home releases followed on the Sega Dreamcast in Japan and the PlayStation 2, with the latter version later made available on PlayStation 3 through the PlayStation Network's PlayStation 2 Classics service. A separate updated edition, Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO, was released for GameCube and Xbox.
