Charade Maniacs is an otome visual novel developed by Otomate and released in 2018, available on Android, iOS, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. Set in the near future, the story follows Hiyori Sena, a high school sophomore whose ordinary life is abruptly upended when she and her childhood friend are abducted by a masked stranger and transported to a mysterious world orbited by two moons. There they find nine other captives in the same situation. A cryptic figure promises that performing dramatic scenes in this realm — called Arcadia — will grant the group's deepest wishes, making cooperation their only path home. Complicating matters is the revelation that one member of the group is a traitor working against the others. The player navigates Hiyori's relationships with the ensemble cast while unraveling the conspiracies behind their abduction, pursuing one of several romance routes across a blend of mystery and dramatic storytelling.

"In this world, as long as you perform our 'drama', all of your wishes will be granted!" In order to leave this parallel universe and return to the real world, the protagonist and nine others have no choice but to cooperate to take part in this drama as a part of the cast. However, they discover that there is a traitor among the ten of them that were brought to this world. What are the traitor’s aims and the real reason this drama series is even happening in the first place? Swaying between suspicion and trust; at the end whose hand will you choose to take?
