Chroma Quaternion is a fantasy JRPG developed by Exe-Create Inc. and released in 2020, available across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, iOS, and Android. The game is set in a world divided into four kingdoms, each associated with a particular season, where divine figures known as the Quadeities assign roles to the inhabitants. When mysterious events begin disrupting this established order, a group of characters sets out across the kingdoms to uncover the source of the trouble. Each character can equip up to three roles simultaneously, with each role bringing distinct skills, effects, and costumes. Combat is turn-based and features a charging mechanic tied to special orbs; filling these orbs unlocks an Act Over system that allows up to four consecutive actions in a single turn. The game presents its world through pixel art visuals in a classic JRPG style.
