Clockwork Aquario is a colorful arcade platformer originally developed by Westone Bit Entertainment in 1992 but left unfinished and presumed lost for decades. Publisher Strictly Limited Games undertook an extensive preservation effort to recover and complete the title, finally releasing it in 2021 across arcade, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Players choose from three distinct characters — Huck Londo, a daring ghost hunter; Elle Moon, a courageous adventuress; or Gush, a large-hearted giant robot — each bringing a different personality to the action. The game is distinguished by its elaborate pixel art and richly saturated color palette, reflecting the visual ambitions of early 1990s arcade design. As the final arcade project Westone ever produced, Clockwork Aquario holds a notable place in video game history as a recovered artifact of a studio celebrated for its contributions to the genre.
