Community Inc is a village-building strategy simulator developed by T4 Interactive, released in 2017 for PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch. Players take the role of a Manager overseeing a settlement populated by small workers called Lings, who must be supplied with wages, food, clothing, and a livable environment to function effectively. Left unmanaged, Lings can quarrel with one another or even start fires, so monitoring their individual traits and stats is essential. The game features over 150 craftable items, ranging from furniture that expands storage capacity to weapons and armor for defending against hostile creatures. Villages are built across procedurally generated or custom maps, and players interact with other races through trade, diplomacy, or combat. Dynamic weather, including rain and snow, affects both crop production and worker health. Random events, contracts, and a resource currency called Surplus add further complexity to the management loop.
