Crazy Machines 3 is a physics-based puzzle game developed by FAKT Software and released in 2016 for PC. Players complete Rube Goldberg-style chain reactions by placing missing components into elaborate contraptions, solving increasingly absurd scenarios across more than 220 objects and 300 individual parts. Physical systems — including electricity, explosions, lasers, lightning, and wind — interact within each machine, and a chip-tinkering mechanic allows players to assign individual properties such as floating, rotation, or weight to specific objects. Construction extends to material choice, with options spanning wood, metal, and stone, alongside adjustable size, rotation, and color. A built-in editor supports the creation of custom machine parts, while Steam Workshop integration provides access to a large and continuously expanding library of community-made puzzles and machines. Completed builds can be shared publicly through the same platform. The game received free content updates adding new machines, parts, and objects following launch.
