After becoming disillusioned with the corrupt system he once enforced, the Silencer defects and joins the Resistance — the very faction he previously hunted. Gameplay centers on combat-heavy missions in which the protagonist turns his considerable arsenal and training against his former employers. The game is noted for its uncompromising tone and emphasis on firepower, with the player navigating environments and eliminating enemies using a range of weapons. The title reflects the protagonist's ruthless approach to his new allegiances.
