CT Special Forces 2: Back in the Trenches is a 2003 shooter-platformer developed by Light and Shadow Productions for the Game Boy Advance. The game follows the CT Special Forces unit as it mobilizes once more to counter escalating terrorist activity across multiple regions of the world. Players work through various combat scenarios with access to a range of high-tech weapons, including shotguns, bazookas, and sniper rifles, as well as assorted vehicles. The mission across each region centers on disrupting terrorist operations and restoring stability. Beyond the main single-player campaign, the game includes multiplayer modes that allow additional ways to engage with its combat systems. The sequel builds on its predecessor by broadening both the geographic scope of its missions and the arsenal available to the player throughout the campaign.
