Darksburg is a cooperative roguelite action game developed by Shiro Games, released in 2020 for PC. Set in a medieval town overrun by the undead, the game tasks a group of up to four players with fighting through procedurally generated city environments to survive waves of infected enemies. Players choose from a roster of distinct Survivors — including a nun, an innkeeper, a bounty hunter, and a werewolf — each bringing unique skills and personalities to the group. As runs progress, characters level up and gain perks selected from randomized options, allowing players to construct varied builds across sessions. Because both the city layout and its loot are procedurally generated, no two runs play out identically. The game emphasizes coordinated multiplayer teamwork alongside quick reflexes, with diverse objectives, enemy types, and items encountered across the different zombie-occupied districts of Darksburg.
