Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition is a top-down shooter developed by Finnish studio Housemarque, released in 2014 for PlayStation 4, with the original version also available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Set in a fictional world overrun by a zombie apocalypse, the game has players choosing between a male or female character and battling through waves of varied zombie types. The Apocalypse Edition builds on the 2010 original by bundling the Road of Devastation DLC alongside the main campaign at launch. The game was made available at no cost to PlayStation Plus subscribers in March 2014.
