Death Track: Resurrection is a combat racing game developed by Gaijin Entertainment and released in 2009 for PlayStation 3 and PC. Set in a near-future post-apocalyptic world where conventional sports have given way to brutal spectacle, the game centers on the Survival Race — a deadly tournament in which elite drivers battle one another across dystopian reimaginings of ten real-world cities, including Tokyo, London, Moscow, New York, and Istanbul. Players pilot one of ten heavily armed vehicles through races defined by aggressive combat rather than clean competition. Cars can be outfitted with various weapons and upgrades, and paint job customization is also available. Destructible environments contribute to the disorder of each race. A single-player narrative with a suspense-driven story provides context and progression throughout the campaign, framing the chaotic road battles within a broader fictional world.
