Destroyer Command is a naval simulator developed by Ultimation and released in 2002 for PC. Set during World War II, it places the player in command of United States Navy destroyers across two major theaters of operation: the Pacific War and the Battle of the Atlantic. Each theater is represented by a campaign of 20 missions, supplemented by 20 predefined historical scenarios — including engagements such as the Battle of Savo Island — training missions, and procedurally generated custom missions with player-selectable opposing forces. Fourteen destroyer classes are available, ranging from the Clemson and Wickes to the Fletcher and Allen M. Sumner. Controllable weaponry includes the dual-purpose 5"/38 caliber gun, the 4-inch/50 SP gun, Bofors 40 mm and Oerlikon 20 mm light cannons, depth charges ranging from 200 to 600 pounds, and 21-inch torpedoes. Realism settings are adjustable, allowing players to calibrate the simulation's difficulty.
