Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII is an action role-playing third-person shooter developed by Square Enix Product Development Division 1 and released for PlayStation 2 in 2006. Set within the Final Fantasy VII universe, it marks the franchise's first entry in the shooter genre and follows Vincent Valentine as the central protagonist.
