Dirty Bomb is a fast-paced, team-based first-person shooter developed by Splash Damage, released on PC in 2018. Set in a near-future London destabilized by a series of radioactive attacks, the game pits mercenaries hired by competing factions against one another as the city descends into chaos. With no aim assist or controller support, success depends entirely on player skill and coordination. The roster features over 20 distinct mercenaries, each with individual abilities and attributes. Two primary modes structure competitive play: Objective mode tasks teams with completing a series of goals across city environments within a time limit, while Stopwatch mode builds on this framework by having teams switch sides mid-match to determine who completes the objectives fastest. The game positions itself as an uncompromising, skill-driven experience in the tradition of classic competitive shooters.
A string of 'dirty bomb' attacks cripple London, leaving the Central Disaster Authority to restore it. When criminal syndicate Jackal begin disrupting and stealing their technology, the capital is thrown into chaos as mercenaries from across the globe are hired by both sides. That's where you come in. After all, what’s a little radiation sickness when there’s money to be made?
