Disney Infinity 3.0 is an action-adventure game developed by Avalanche Software and released in 2015, available across PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, iOS, and Android. The third entry in the Disney Infinity series, it expands the franchise's roster by adding Star Wars characters and worlds alongside the Marvel, Disney, and Disney•Pixar figures introduced in earlier editions. Characters from all three generations of the toyline can be combined and used together within the Toy Box mode, a freeform sandbox environment where players build and explore custom worlds. The game follows the series' physical toy-to-life model, in which collectible figures are used to unlock playable characters within the game. The inclusion of Star Wars represented a significant expansion of the property portfolio available to players within the unified Toy Box experience.
