Divinity II: Ego Draconis is an action role-playing game developed by Larian Studios and released in 2009 for PC and Xbox 360, marking the third entry in the Divinity franchise and the series' first appearance on consoles. Players move between two distinct modes of play: a ground-level, third-person action-RPG perspective as a human character, and aerial dragon combat that shifts the experience into a broader, airborne scale. This capacity to transform into a dragon is the game's central mechanic, distinguishing it from more conventional entries in the genre. Published by DTP Entertainment and CDV Entertainment, the title was later revisited in the 2011 compilation The Dragon Knight Saga, which bundled the base game with the expansion Flames of Vengeance, and again in the 2012 Developer's Cut edition, both released through Focus Home Interactive.
