Don Bradman Cricket 17 is a cricket simulation developed by Big Ant Studios, released in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game centers on a revised control system designed to expand the range and precision available across batting, bowling, and fielding. Batting incorporates advanced shot types including the helicopter, reverse sweep, and scoop, while bowlers can vary their arsenal with leg-cutters, off-cutters, cross-seam deliveries, and spin options such as the doosra and googly. Fielding mechanics include reflex catching, boundary slides, tap backs, and relay throws. A career mode allows players to begin either as an established professional or a club-level rookie. Motion-captured animations feature first-class cricketers, including female athletes across all game modes for the first time in the series. A stadium and logo creator enables custom content to be shared online, with thousands of community-created players, teams, stadiums, and other assets available for download.
