Dragon Ball: Origins 2 is an action-adventure game developed by Game Republic Inc. and released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS. It adapts the Red Ribbon Army saga from the Dragon Ball series, following Goku's conflicts with the villainous Red Ribbon Army and concluding with the resurrection of Upa's father, a guardian of the sacred Korin Tower. Players can take control of multiple characters throughout the campaign and join a friend through co-operative multiplayer challenges. The Japanese version also includes a bonus Famicom Dragon Ball game bundled within. Building on its predecessor, the title expands the scope of the original's narrative while retaining the handheld action-adventure framework, offering both solo and cooperative ways to experience one of the manga's most prominent early story arcs across the Nintendo DS hardware.
